Sitting at the top of Ounasvaara fell, surrounded by forest and with cross-country / hiking trails and down hill ski lifts at the door, Sky Hotel remains within easy reach of central Rovaniemi, only 10 minutes drive.
While ideal for all visitors we particularly recommend the hotel for families during the winter as children enjoy the easy access to the snow and toboggan slopes. All 69 rooms within the hotel have private facilities, TV, minibar and hair dryer.
The hotel has a popular restaurant offering panoramic views although those in search of nightlife must head into the town centre.

Just 25km from Rovaniemi, Arctic Hotel Pohtimo enjoys a wonderful location set deep in the forest overlooking its own lake. Whatever the season it is an excellent location for those wishing to make the most of their surroundings and to relax by the fire after a good meal in the evening.
Hiking, snowmobiling and cross country skiing trails start from the door. A husky farm can be found in the forest just across the lake and slopes ideal for tobogganing down are just metres from the hotel.
Accommodation is in lightly decorated twin/triple or family rooms with shower, WC and TV.
The hotel’s newly renovated reception area with fireplace leads on to a cosy restaurant overlooking the forest and lake.
