Holidays to Saariselkä including Weddings & Honeymoons
This pretty resort in the far north of Finnish Lapland features three hotels, Riekonlinna, Tunturi and Holiday Club, offering hotel and apartment accommodation. The resort is surrounded by gentle fells and extensive forests. Excellent safaris such as husky, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and snowmobiling start just minute from the door of the hotels. There are several reindeer farms in the area. The resort is small but boasts a spa swimming pool, excellent toboggan run, some gift shops, supermarkets and several good restaurants.
Just 15 minutes from Saariselkä is the romantic Kakslauttanen cabin and Igloo hotel. This is a popular location for couples, honeymoons and weddings. Accommodation is in log cabins set among the trees in the forest.
