Harriniva Wilderness Centre
Harriniva is a unique family run hotel. Your hosts, Kopi and Maria, and their friendly team will welcome you to their magical winter and summer wonderland where they encourage guests to relax away from the stresses of everyday life and to enjoy the surrounding nature.
The hotel has been lovingly built using local wood and stone to give it a warm and rustic feel with traditional and cosy accommodation with private facilities.
The hub of the hotel is the restaurant and bar where you can relax at the end of an exciting day, swapping stories over a hearty meal and a drink.
Harriniva is also home to one of Europe’s largest husky farms which of course you will have a chance to visit during your stay, but far enough away not to affect your well deserved nights rest.

The prices shown throughout the Lapland part of our website represent the cost of the ground arrangements only, to this you will have to add the airfare from wherever you wish to depart from. Previously our prices have included the air fare content of the “package” however recent changes in the way airlines sell their air seats means that air fares and taxes have become more susceptible to change and therefore do not remain at the same constant level throughout the validity of the programmes on offer. Therefore the earlier you book the better chance you will have to obtain the best possible air fare. When you have decided on your ground arrangement, please call us and we will endeavour to find the lowest airfare possible. To obtain the lowest fares airlines now require early booking and full payment for the flights at the time of booking, full payment for the flights will be in addition to the £100* deposit required for the ground arrangements. * Full payment is required if booked within 8 weeks of departure

Harriniva Snow Igloo Overnights
Each winter the hotel builds a wonderful igloo on the banks of the Muonio River close to the hotel so guests can make their visit to Harriniva even more memorable. At the centre of the large igloo is a chamber with ice table and chairs and leading off this are several bed chambers with double beds made of snow. Even in the coldest conditions the igloo temperature remains moderate especially when you are snuggled onto a layer of soft reindeer skins, in an excellent sleeping bag and have a hot drink.
