Levi Ski CountryLevi, located in western Lapland, enjoys easy access to Kittilä airport just 20 minutes away, it is not unusual for clients to turn up at check-in still wearing their crosscountry skis. Levi is Finland’s most popular or maybe trendiest downhill ski resort. With a height of just 325m it is obvious the fell cannot compete with the Alps but it is the ideal location for beginners with a laid back atmosphere, wide slopes, easy access from the resort, good ski school and minimal to nonexistent lift queues.
As the resort offers such a wide range of activities during the winter such as snowmobiling and husky safaris it is also the perfect location for those looking for an activity based holiday of which skiing is just one element. Visitors throughout the year appreciate the spa at the centre of the resort with its pool, saunas, jacuzzis and treatments especially after an energetic day. The resort caters for families with play areas, crèche and children’s ski school.
