Luosto something for everyone

The tranquil ski village of Luosto is home to pretty wooden cabins and a small number of hotels set among the trees at the foot of Luosto Fell. Visitors come to Luosto during winter for the excellent safaris and skiing, both cross country, which are comprehensive and downhill, which will suit beginners and lower intermediates.

During winter the resort benefits from good bus connections from Rovaniemi airport.

In late summer and autumn visitors are attracted by the beautiful scenery, opportunities for canoeing, fishing and the diverse range of hiking trails. During this period car rental will allow easy access and the opportunity to explore even further afield.

Hotel Luostotunturi

This exciting hotel has managed to combine excellent modern facilities while incorporating local wood and stone to reflect it’s Lapland setting. At its heart is a pretty Amethyst spa that includes a pool with massage jets, jacuzzi, saunas and Turkish baths. It is possible to book treatments such as a massage and use the gym.

The rooms are warm and cosy with wc, shower, minibar, satellite TV, hair dryer and drying cupboard. A small number of rooms have an additional sleeping loft making them ideal for families.

Restaurants include an informal lobby bistro and an excellent restaurant set over three floors and enjoying panoramic views into the snow covered forest.

Luostotunturi Log Cabins

Located throughout Luosto within walking distance of the ski slopes and within 1.5 km of the hotel these pretty cabins are between 40-75m2 with one or two bedrooms. All have a well-equipped kitchenette (fridge, microwave, dishwasher and tableware) living room, fireplace, sauna, wc, shower, electric heating and TV.

Guests have access to all the facilities of the hotel.
