New Year Celebrations, adults & older teens - Harriniva

After the over-indulgence of Christmas what better way to see in the New Year, with your friends and loved ones, than escaping to the fresh air of one of Europe’s last great wildernesses to enjoy a host of winter activities.
We offer a range of New Year holidays , with varying levels of activity included and various types of accommodation.
At Harriniva Wilderness Centre the accommodation is in rooms and the programme is full and action packed and designed for adults or those travelling with older teens only as the safari’s are longer.
At Hotel Jeris the programme is for all ages with a choice of room or cabin accommodation for families
who want to escape from it all. Our arrangements include full board and limited activities.

Harriniva Wilderness Centre

Harriniva is a unique family run hotel. Your hosts, Kopi and Maria, and their friendly team will welcome you to their magical winter and summer wonderland where they encourage guests to relax away from the stresses of everyday life and to enjoy the surrounding nature.

The hotel has been lovingly built using local wood and stone to give it a warm and rustic feel with traditional and cosy accommodation with private facilities.

The hub of the hotel is the restaurant and bar where you can relax at the end of an exciting day, swapping stories over a hearty meal and a drink.

Harriniva is also home to one of Europe’s largest husky farms which of course you will have a chance to visit during your stay, but far enough away not to affect your well deserved nights rest.

From here continue north to the village of Hetta, home to a Snow Castle. Following a tour of the castle, taking in the ice carvings, enjoy a hot lunch in the ice restaurant. The next stop is the Hetta's Nature and Culture centre to learn more about the Sami people and the surrounding nature.

Return to the hotel to rest ahead of the evenings celebrations.
After a special dinner everyone heads outside to make the most of Harriniva’s unique location, as it allows you to see the New Year not once, but twice.
