DAY 1 Arrival at Kittilä airport and transfer to Harriniva Holiday Centre in Muonio (approx. one hour). Dinner and information about the programme. Accommodation in cosy hotel rooms with shower and wc.

DAY 2 After breakfast transfer by coach to the information Centre of the Pallas-Ounas National Park. We will see an interesting slide show about the fauna and flora of this unique region. The small exhibition shows some of the typical animals and plants of the area. After having lunch by campfire, start the hiking trek of 12 km through the beautiful wilderness, to the Vuontisjärvi Wilderness Chalet. The Chalet is situated on the lake Vuontisjärvi . You can try various activities like fishing, paddling, rowing, and swimming. Before a delicious dinner take a relaxing sauna. Overnight in the chalet in shared rooms.

DAY 3 After breakfast hike 5 km to Torassieppi village. This unique Lapp village has 150 years old houses. Visit the old manor which is still owned by the same family since 1847. In the small museum you will see an interesting slide show about the year of the reindeer.before visiting the reindeer in the enclosure and try the lapp lasso throwing. Lunch by campfire in teepee. Before transfer to Harriniva you have the possibility to buy handicrafts. Sauna, dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 In the morning visit the Arctic Sleddog Center of Harriniva with over 330 husky dogs. During the guided tour learn about the life and training of husky dogs. After lunch depart on an exciting river rafting tour through the rapids on the Muonio River. The journey is about 7 km long and lasts more than one hour. Afterwards enjoy coffee and home-made cakes on the river bank. Before returning try your luck at gold panning. The sauna will be available at the hotel and in the evening enjoy a delicious farewell dinner with lapp specialities.

DAY 5 After breakfast free time where you could arrange locally to join a canoeing trip, hiking tour, longer rafting tour, quad bike safaris etc. Hiking routes begin straight from the hotel. You can also rent mountain bikes and canoes. There are also good fishing possibilities close to the hotel, before transfer to Kittilä airport.
