Ylläs Humina is a friendly family run hotel set in the pretty village of Akäslompolo in the Ylläs ski area, Western Finnish Lapland. This popular hotel boasts a cosy fireside restaurant and a bar that attracts the après skiers. Accommodation is in cottage rooms and apartments surrounding the main reception and restaurant cabin.
For winter visitors a ski bus runs to the nearby ski slopes throughout the day where you will find an excellent ski school and Finland ’s longest ski slope 3000m long. The area is also an excellent location for snowboarders, cross country skiers with hundreds of kilometres of well groomed trails or those wanting to experience activities such as snowmobiling and husky sledging.
During summer and autumn visitors are drawn to the area for the excellent hiking, canoeing and fishing.
