The resorts and villages we feature all have something in common, they are all beautiful remote locations and they are all places in which Santa Claus is frequently seen training his reindeer and visiting his elves in the busy build up to Christmas.
Our locations have all been chosen for their magical settings, excellent activities and friendly hospitality.
These destinations are not for those seeking a shoppers paradise or lively nightlife however for those seeking the simple pleasures and relaxation of the great outdoors, exciting activities, fresh air and a warm cosy hotel to return to each day you need look no further.

Syöte, which is often called the gateway to Lapland, is located in northern Finland just below the Arctic Circle and is home to Finland’s southern most fells.
This really is a beautiful, but isolated location, the nearest large village with shops is 35km away, but is a must for those looking for unspoilt nature, open spaces and a wide range of activities.
The hotels sit on top of these gentle fells approximately 10 kms apart and both allow easy access to the surrounding nature, excellent tobogganing and a chance to try skiing on the adjacent hotels slopes.

Muonio is the small remote village that sits on the banks of the Muonio River, in north western Lapland on the border between Finland and Sweden. It is over 200km north of the Arctic Circle. Harriniva is located 5 minutes from the village by the river and Hotel Jeris is 15 minutes south and is a traditional Finnish lakeside resort set deep in the forest. Visitors are attracted to the area by its beauty, gentle fells and excellent safaris.
If time allows and you still have enough energy after all of the safaris, you will find a small number of ski slopes on Olos Fell, approximately 10 kilometres from the hotels.

Located in the far north of Finnish Lapland, 250km above the Arctic Circle, Saariselkä is a small resort, with a handful of hotels and private cabins, literally in the middle of nature. It enjoys wonderful views across surrounding fells and easy access to the forest and frozen lakes.
The resort is home to, with in a gentle walk from all our hotels, a tiny, simple chapel, a few gift shops, a supermarket, spa swimming pool (located in Hotel Holiday club) and at the edge of the resort is an excellent toboggan slope.
A ski bus runs several times a day between the hotels and nearby slopes.
Client Comment“Our family of 4 went on a 5 night trip over Xmas and I just wanted to let you know that it was fantastic from the beginning to the end and all my family have memories from it we will treasure forever. The guides could not have been nicer or more helpful and were part of our holiday, the details that are thought of by your company amazed me and I have to say I was worried that I was looking forward to the holiday too much and it wouldn’t meet expectations, however it exceeded them.
A BIG THANK YOU to Emagine , you do a great job.”
