It doesn’t matter what your level of sailing experience this region has something to appeal to everyone.
What better way to explore this coast than sailing from Gothenburg with a friendly experienced skipper as your guide, stopping to swim in crystal clear waters, mooring for the evening in a pretty, colourful fishing village or finding your own island to tie up to while enjoying a picnic of fresh crabs and a good white wine.
These are real sailing boats built for speed as much as for comfort, they do have toilets and showers on board but comforts are minimalist.

Take a berth for a weeks sailing on a 40 foot boat, that sleeps a maximum of 8 around the archipelago. Join up with the rest of the guests (usually Swedish, although most will speak excellent English) to meet your skipper on Friday and plan the itinerary for the week. It is then time to collect provisions and prepare to set sail.
During the week you must be willing to pitch in and help with all tasks on board such as navigation, sailing, cooking and cleaning. Each day the skipper will sit down with you to discuss the route and training. If travelling alone you must be prepared to share a cabin.
Return to Gothenburg the following Friday morning.
