Pricing Discounts
Children
Passenger tickets are free for children under 12 years.
Families
A family is entitled to a discount on the passenger fare if there are at least 3 paying members of the same family (parents with children 12-17 years) travelling together. The family must include at least one parent. (No family discount on the Helsinki-Tallinn route).
Groups
Group discount applies to groups of at least 10 paying passengers. The discount is only granted for confirmed prepaid bookings. In groups of at least 16 paying passengers, every 16th adult full paying adult is entitled to a discount equal to the average price per person.
Senior Citizens
A senior discount is granted on the passenger fare for seniors and persons over 60 years of age.
Other discounts
Inter-Rail, Scanrail and EuroDomino passes entitle to a 50% discount on the passenger fare. An Eurailpass together with a train ticket entitles to a free passenger ticket (only on Hel-Sto v.v. & Tku-Sto v.v.). Students and journalists are also entitled to a discount on the passanger fare. International or English language student/journalist card has to be presented at the ticket office and at check-in.
